Executive Assistant – Environmental Consultancy £35k

    • Our Client is an environmental consultancy and Europe’s leading climate innovation initiative. They are looking for a graduate Executive Assistant to support their newly appointed CFO so a fantastic opportunity to grow the role. As Executive Assistant to the CFO you will be responsible for providing a first-class administrative support service to the CFO, as well as involvement in project work, including background research, reporting, analysis and input to working groups.

      Hours are 9-5pm but they offer flexi working hours – ie 8-4pm etc and 27 days hols  + bank holidays!

      EA duties

      • Oversee smooth day-to-day running in the CFO’s office
      • Manage diary and appointments
      • Support managing output, workflow and office deadlines
      • Take and relay accurate and timely messages from telephone callers, answering queries where possible and escalating as necessary
      • Manage the CFO’s incoming email and post
      • Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority
      • Manage and book travel
      • Assist in preparing smaller project and cost reports for the CFO
      • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for the CFO and other senior members
      • Organize and attend meetings, and ensure the CFO is well-prepared for these meetings
      • Process CFO’s official expenditures and claims
      • Arrange local transportation when necessary
      • Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the CFO

      This role has tremendous reach and is an excellent opportunity for a bright, numerate and analytical graduate (ideally within business and finance) with excellent EA experience.  You will have experience of preparing presentations and papers using PowerPoint and Excel. We also require experience of working with complex budgets that have strict limits and deadlines. Excellent numeracy and research skills are a must.

      This super EA role has European reach and the opportunity to travel to Europe, so any knowledge of a European language would be highly desirable.
