We’re working with a high-quality, global professional services business to find a confident, commercially minded Interim Team Assistant to support a senior Interim Fee Earner and two Directors within a fast-paced, client-focused team.
This is a busy, varied role at the heart of a thriving interim practice, ideal for someone with a recruitment background (interim, temp, perm or search) who enjoys pace, responsibility, and being closely involved in the commercial side of a business.
🧩 The Role
You’ll primarily support a key Interim Fee Earner who typically manages around 8 mandates at any one time, alongside diary and meeting support for two Directors. While the Fee Earner has a delivery team, this role is heavily focused on scheduling, coordination, and post-placement administration, ensuring everything runs smoothly once placements are made.
You’ll also play a key role in business development administration, helping to streamline and improve processes — this is very much a role where you can take ownership and make a real impact.
The interim team handles 30–40 live assignments per month, so this is a role for someone who thrives in a busy, ever-changing environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Complex diary management and scheduling for a senior Interim Fee Earner
- Diary and meeting support for two Directors
- Post-placement administration including contracts, assessments, references and onboarding
- Supporting and improving BD admin processes
- Coordinating across internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Acting as a trusted, professional point of contact for clients and candidates
👤 About You
- Previous experience in recruitment (interim, temp, perm or search) is strongly preferred
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident, professional, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded and client-focused
- Enjoys pace, responsibility, and being close to the action
